Ecological Significance/Pollinators: Attracts butterflies and is the larval host of the common buckeye and Baltimore checkerspot moths 

Spreading Habit: Height 2.5-3'

Seed Provence: Original ecotype collected in Bethel, CT. Grown out at The Hickories in Ridgefield, CT

Habitat: Meadows and fields, anthropogenic/disturbed habitat, forests (Wetland Code FACU)
