2026
Artist In Residence Program
We are looking for 4 artists who incorporate themes of plant life and ecology to join our Artist-in-Residence (AIR) program for the 2026 season. Together, Art & ecology encourage deep learning and inspiration from our landscapes and create dialog between our communities.
Art Residents are given the space to create closely with the plant world at our two locations and an option to use our platform to sell or share their art at our farmers market table & plant stand. The artist will have an opportunity to share their work on Plant Communitys social media platforms and participate at events.
We encourage all artists to build relationships with our community by events, like Botanizing Hangs and volunteer days to learn more about plants in our local landscape.

Please fill out the interest form below and we will be in touch regarding the application by Wednesday, April 1st.
Deadline for application will be: Monday, April 27th

Seapowet Marsh
Plant Community has recently started stewarding a property on the Seapowet Marsh in Tiverton RI. This property is being prepared for native seed production and is bustling with marsh life, with night herons in the evening and fiddler crabs peaking themselves through the reeds.

Plant Community
Visiting Plant Community's Nursery will expose you to native plants that have been grown out from seed collected in our region, making it a grounding space learning species that have been correctly identified. This property abuts Frenchtown Preserve in East Greenwich, full of wetlands, water features, and trails.
