Ecological Significance/Pollinators: Late blooming flowers supply a pollen source for many bees and butterflies into the fall, acts as a larval host for the Crescent butterfly

Seed Provence: Original ecotypes collected in Brookfield, CT. Grown out at The Hickories and Hilltop Hanover

Habitat: Meadows and fields, anthropogenic/disturbed habitat, (Wetland code FACW)
